Why is it so hard to find a job in Minnesota,mainly Saint Paul Area?
I’m a College Student,I filled out 63 Applications over the past 3 weeks and I haven’t got one call back! I have 5 years of customer service experience and I’ve never got fired,I did however leave jobs to return to school,but i always gave my two weeks notice beforehand. What’s the problem?Because people i know filled out particular applications after me and got called in for interviews?Could it be my age? I’m 23, and the people i know are like 19.
I just graduated with a bachelors in December, and I have been looking for a job since! I am near Pittsburgh! So, it’s not just your area. It’s all around. It’s not you. It’s just the fact that most places are overwhelmed with applicants so you have to have an edge to get in.
My college loans are almost due (in 1 month) and I have yet to get one job offer. It started out like you — I filled out tons and tons of applications and sent countless resumes. Then starting in March I started getting a few calls and have been interviewing a lot since then, but no job offers. 
You have to understand there are people with degrees and years of experience that are also applying for everything and anything (due to lay-offs) and so they are probably getting picked over us.
Blah. Just keep at it and don’t give up!
